I offer a relaxed, documentary approach to capturing your day exactly as it unfolds. With a genuine passion for weddings and storytelling, my work focuses on preserving the real moments — the laughter, the emotion, the quiet glances, and the joyful celebrations — so you can relive them for years to come.
Rather than turning your wedding into a staged production, I blend into the background, filming in a calm and unobtrusive way. This style allows you to fully enjoy your day with your partner, family, and friends, without feeling as though you’re constantly being directed or surrounded by cameras.

Ben and April had a lovely wedding at one of my favourite wedding venues; Brinsop Court.
The ceremony was held outside followed by a drinks reception and formal photos. the celebration then headed up to the Knot Barn for the wedding breakfast, speeches, and dancing.

Hi, I’m Colin, I’ve been a UK-based wedding photographer & videographer for over 13 years and specialise in a very relaxed approach that suits people who don’t want to turn their whole wedding day into a film set.
I work in a very discreet way, so you can enjoy your wedding day the way you’ve envisioned it and I’ll be there to capture all of those awesome moments.
I don’t use a huge camera rig, or loads of gear, in fact this photo here is how I’ll be filming 90% of the day, one camera, one lens.

I keep myself in good shape and I’m rarely ill, but if I am completely incapacitated I will contact another videographer to come and film your wedding, I have good friends who are wedding filmmakers and I can call on them to cover for me.
I will endeavour to never leave you without someone to film your wedding.

Yes. I am fully covered for public liability and professional indemnity, as well as having all my equipment insured. These documents can be provided if needed.

About a month before the wedding the final payment will be due and I’ll send over a questionnaire.
From this I’ll have all the details needed to cover your day. A few days before the wedding I’ll message to double check my arrival time.
You are welcome to get in touch at any point in the run up with any questions.

The night of the wedding I’ll back up all my footage and audio recordings.
A day or two after the wedding I’ll send a sneak peek (15-30 second film)
6-8 weeks after the wedding your film will be ready to watch online, and I’ll send out your USB with your feature film, speeches film, and ceremony film.

I’m more than happy to edit the film after your first viewing, occasionally couples want slight changes in what is shown and that’s no problem.

I can only use music which I have a license to use. I currently get all on my music from Artist.io
You’ll find with the main film the music is there as a background, and I’ll use clips from the ceremony and speeches to be the main audio.
